Services

  • Sports Massage

Sports Massage is an integrative approach to alleviate tension, reduce inflammation, and increase muscle composition and quality. This is an excellent modality for increasing blood flow and lymphatic drainage therefore increasing immune function. Also known for increasing flexibility and range of motion, relieving pain related stress and anxiety and improving overall health.

  • Myofascial Release

“Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.”

    John F. Barnes

Gentle pressure applied over time allows the fascia to hydrate and elongate, increasing skeletal muscle mobility and stimulating the stretch reflex. This reduces soreness and increases recovery time, offering relaxation and relief.

  • COLD LASER

Cold laser therapy quickly relieves pain, controls inflammation, and facilitates wound healing in animals. The Cold Laser also facilitates in ROM, circulation, healing and soft tissue and spinal health.

The blue LED light accelerates wound repair and reduces bacteria in wounds, providing your horse with a fast, drug-free recovery.

  • Bemer

Healthy circulation is vital to optimal health. Stimulating healthy muscles and temporarily increasing blood circulation in healthy muscles is the primary goal of BEMER, to support muscular health and optimize performance.*

BEMER devices use a pulsed electromagnetic field – abbreviated as PEMF – to deliver a patented therapeutic signal.

  • TENS Machine

    TENS

Standing for “Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS”).

Electrical impulses can reduce the pain signals going to the spinal cord and brain, which can help relieve pain and relax muscles. They may also stimulate the production of endorphins, which are the body's natural painkillers. The TENS machine is excellent for activating or relaxing muscles in adjunction in bodywork.

  • Stretching

Stretching to supplement bodywork helps increase range of motion, joint health and muscle laxity. Proper stretching aides in long term joint and skeletal muscle health for our equine friends. Keeping them flexible helps prevent injury from rigid musculature.

  • Strength Training

Strength training for athletic performance, leveling asymmetries, and increasing power is a key aspect of sports performance. Supplemented by years of exercise prescription by a Certified Exercise Physiologist each horse has a strength training program catered to their specific needs.

  • Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology Taping is a anatomical tool that focuses on proprioception, support, supplementing strength and diminishing edema. Taping can support skeletal muscle, joints, tendons and ligaments. It is a valuable “topdressing” to elongating the effects of body work sessions.

  • Gua Sha

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicine practice in which a tool specially shaped for each body area is used to gently scrape over the fur and skin creating a friction that relieves tension and inflammation while bringing in better blood flow.

  • Tuning Forks

Tuning Forks used on Acupressure points allow for deep releases of pain and tension through auditory vibration. Tuning forks are also supportive in addressing trigger points in muscle tension.
